SURVEY OF COMMUNITY ATTITUDES AND UTILIZATION OF COOPER RIVER PARK WEST

The Survey of Community Attitudes and Utilization of Cooper River Park West study was conducted in effort to inform restoration efforts of Cooper River Park West in Camden, New Jersey. The study examined community attitudes towards safety, maintenance, utilization, and desired features regarding Cooper River Park West, which was closed for 14 years prior to this study. Rasheda L. Weaver worked in collaboration with a nonprofit organization called Friends of Cooper River West and The Honors College and Department of Public Policy and Administration at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in Camden. Findings from this study influenced local policy efforts and vision plans relating to the restoration and development of the park.
